# .........Minerals Species: MAGANOCALCITE Location of Deposit: CASAPALCA MINE, TICLLO MOROCOCHA, LIMA, PERU Description: These Maganoan Calcites have a Brilliant rich Redish Pink color under a Short Wave Ultra Violet Light. Manganocalcite is a form of pink calcite. Most specimens are non-crystaline, but some China have a very beautiful crystal clusters of manganocalcite. These Manganocalcites may vary from pale to dark pink and often have white bands throughtout the specimen.
