Location of Mineral: Sao Pedro Mine, Malacacheta City, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Description:  (Radioactive – Uranium - Fluorescent) –  Here we have a rather rare but colorful (and radioactive) uranium mineral uranocircite (Ca (UO2) SiO3 (OH) * H2O. Uranocircite is a member of the Autunite group. They form as thin tabular composite plate-like crystals. They are a very bright yellowish-green color with a pearly luster. Like most uranium minerals they fluoresce a bright green under ultraviolet light.
