All photos are taken under Superbright 2000 SW or LW light with a Sony Mavica camera with an inferred light and zoom lens

 
Minerals Species:   FLUORAPATITE,  WILLEMITE & CALCITE 

Location of Mineral Deposit:  FRANKLIN MINES, FRANKLIN, NEW JERSEY

Description:   This specimen contains areas of Fluorapatite that Fluoresces Orange under a Short Wave Ultra Violet Light along with Calcite that Fluoresces Red under a Short Wave Ultra Violet Light with and Willemite that Fluoresces Green under Short Wave Ultra Violet light and is Phosphorescent. The Andradite (Garnet) is a Golden Brown and NON-Fluorescent along with the Franklinite that is Black in color.

Location of Mineral Deposit:  EDISON IRON MINE, OGDENSBURG, SUSSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

Description:   This specimens matrix contains areas of Fluorapatite that Fluoresces a dull Orange color under a Shortwave Ultraviolet Light along with  Feldspar that Fluoresces a deep Maroon color also under a Shortwave Ultraviolet Light. The Brown color is iron and NON-Fluorescent along with Mica that is Black in color and also Non-Fluorescent.
