Location of Mineral Deposit:   US BORAX MINE,  BORN, KERN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

Description: These nice examples of glassy Colemanite crystals intermixed with yellow Calcite botryoidal growths. Under Ultra Violet lights the Colemanite glows a greenish white color while the Calcite glows a cream color. Both are phosphorescent. These pieces fluoresces under all wavelengths but is best under shortwave and midwave. Shown under shortwave Ultra Violet light. These are also attractive white light specimens as well..
